He remained in solitary confinement for a period of four months, during which he was subjected to psychological and physical torture in order to confess to the charges brought by the investigation office against him, namely, inciting public opinion against the rulers and the charge of terrorism.
After nine months of detention, the first session was held in the Specialized Court in Riyadh, and after five sessions, he was sentenced to 27 years in prison.
