ALQST condemns the Saudi authorities’ mistreatment of Jannat Sybile for five years

ALQST is dismayed to learn of the hardship and injustice experienced by Tunisian nurse Jannat Sybile Nuhaila, formerly contracted to work for the Health Department in Al-Baha, Saudi Arabia. Since being unfairly dismissed from her work, Jannat has been left stranded for more than five years without a passport, residence permit or the right to work, as a result of the Saudi authorities’ bureaucratic failings and disregard for human rights. ALQST is calling for her situation to be resolved swiftly so that she can at last travel back to her home country and be reunited with her children.
